NAE welcomes Diana van den Heuvel to the advisory board!

Diana van den Heuvel, corporate account director at Siemens Energy and president of the Royal Institute of Engineers (KIVI), will join the Netherlands Academy of Engineering as a member of the advisory board on September 1, 2025. With her unique combination of technical expertise and social vision, thanks to her background in science and the arts, she will make a valuable contribution to our strategic course.

Her experience in electrification, hydrogen, grid infrastructure, and digitization, as well as her belief in public-private partnerships and sustainable innovation, fit seamlessly with the NAE’s mission. Diana van den Heuvel succeeds Jacolien Eijer, former president of KIVI, on the board.
