NAE is a member of international umbrella organisations of Academies of Engineering, such as Euro-CASE and CAETS.
Through these memberships and the associated working groups, NAE helps position the Netherlands in relation to European initiatives such as the European Chips Act, Data Act, Cloud Sovereignty, and the AI Act, while bringing forward Dutch interests.
In addition, NAE works to interpret and contextualise international reports that are relevant to the Netherlands within the Dutch context.
The Diversity & Inclusion Working Group proudly presents the publication ‘A Toolkit for Inclusive, National Academy Organised Events in Engineering and Technology’.
This handbook offers practical guidance for organising meetings and events in a more inclusive and accessible way. The toolkit aligns closely with NAE activities, such as the innovation conference. As other technical organisations, associations, and companies can also benefit greatly from the insights and recommendations it provides, we are pleased to share it more broadly.
