AI in engineering. Diving deep into vistas
On 14 November, NAE is organising a groundbreaking innovation conference entitled ‘Ai in engineering. Diving deep into vistas’ where NAE will kick off a future vision and a path forward for the application of artificial intelligence in four socially relevant domains: water, health, agriculture and energy. The conference revolves around insights from engineers from both business and science in those fields, complemented by insights from our stakeholders.
Diving deep into vistas’ where NAE will kick off a vision of the future and a path forward for the application of artificial intelligence in four socially relevant domains: water, health, agriculture and energy. The conference revolves around insights from engineers from both business and science in those areas, complemented by insights from our stakeholders.
We first get inspired with kickstart pitches from thought leaders from the above domains who present us with vistas. Then, in interactive sessions at tables per domain, participants will collectively search for a vision based on the priority in challenges and determine the route towards it.
The speakers who have already committed are:
- Tom Heskes – professor of data science, Radboud University
- Wiro Niessen – captain of science Top Sector Lifesciences
- Hanneke van der Klis – director Digital Transformation Deltares
- Ioannis N. Athanasiadis – professor of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Wageningen University and Research
Chairman of the day: Inge Diepman
